Who’s ready for some good ‘ol wartime shenanigans? Well, that’s what’s in order as we now have our first look at the new WWII action-comedy The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare from director Guy Ritchie which sees Henry Cavill leading a motley crew of special operatives in a true-life tale of the formation of the special forces. Loaded with heavy firepower and crackling Guy Ritchie wit, this one looks like a war ready hit!
Official Synopsis: Based upon recently declassified files of the British War Department and inspired by true events, THE MINISTRY OF UNGENTLEMANLY WARFARE is an action-comedy that tells the story of the first-ever special forces organization formed during WWII by UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill and a small group of military officials including author Ian Fleming. The top-secret combat unit, composed of a motley crew of rogues and mavericks, goes on a daring mission against the Nazis using entirely unconventional and utterly “ungentlemanly” fighting techniques. Ultimately, their audacious approach changed the course of the war and laid the foundation for the British SAS and modern Black Ops warfare.

Cavill stars with a battle ready, stacked cast that includes Eiza González, Alan Ritchson (star of the enormous hit Reacher), Alex Pettyfer, Dune’s Babs Olusamokun, and Snake Eyes himself Henry Golding.
The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare loos old school and fun as hell and the cast looks all in with a wink and an elbow nudge so combining Ritchie humor with hyper-kinetic battle sequences and a sensational cast will most assuredly hit the mark with audiences craving solid entertainment in 2024. The movie opens up this spring on April 19th.

Guy Ritchie! I’m in!
