I seriously do not think that in my eight plus years of doing this site that I have posted anything from Tibet. I’ll have to rewind and go through my archives but I’m pretty sure this country has never made it on here for action entertainment.
Well, thanks to Asian Film Fans, we finally have an offering from Tibet in the form of the new action/thriller One and Four. The premise is intriguing as well as it centers on an officer who is going to commit suicide only to be pulled into a cat and mouse game with a ruthless killer. Check out the atmospheric new international trailer below!
SYNOPSIS: On New Year’s Eve, Officer Wu parks her car by the river bank with the intention of killing herself, but a nearby scream interrupts her. A dead body of a migrant worker is discovered, and after an autopsy is performed, it is discovered she died a violent death. Now Officer Wu must solve the crime and stop a violent killer before he strikes again.

DIRECTOR: Ying-Ting Tseng (Tea Land, The Cat In The Closet)
STARRING: Janine Chang (The Soul, Detective Chinatown 3), Ethan Juan (The Assassin, The Eight Hundred), Yu An-Shun (Terrorizers, The Tenant Downstairs), Chloe Xiang (Eye of the Storm, How to Train Our Dragon).

I almost forgot to mention that One and Four is award winning having been received quite well at various film fests. I can see why as Tibet is not known for these types of flicks and this one looks just as good as anything coming out of Hong Kong or other territories. This is definitely on my radar now. Lock N Load right here for more Intel to come!
