I’m a so so wrestling fan with most of my viewing spent during WWE’s Attitude Era with The Rock and Triple H feuding every week. With that, I eat up anything that sheds light on this fascinating business that can chew and spit out many.
With that we have Director Sean Durkin’s newest wrestling biopic titled The Iron Claw which sees Zac Effon headlining the true life tale of one of wrestling’s most famous families, the Von Erich family. Check out the in ring action and out of the light drama in the new trailer below!
The true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers, who made history in the intensely competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s. Through tragedy and triumph, under the shadow of their domineering father and coach, the brothers seek larger-than-life immortality on the biggest stage in sports.

Efron stars Kevin Von Erich, Jeremy Allen White as Kerry Von Erich, Harris Dickinson as David Von Erich, Maxwell Jacob Friedman as Lance Von Erich, Holt McCallany as Fritz Von Erich, Maura Tierny as Doris Von Erich, Lily James as Pam Adkisson, Stanley Simons as Mike Von Erich, Aaron Dean Eisenberg as Ric Flair, and more.

We don’t get enough wrestling movies or better yet, true life wrestling movies, so this one is definitely going to be a must see. It looks to blend the heavy family drama along with the flashy in ring action set pieces so we’ll see how audiences gravitate towards it. Fans of the sport will most certainly take to it.
The Iron Claw is set to hit theaters on December 22 right before Christmas.
