Well Go USA Entertainment releases two action-pack wartime adventures in the fourth quarter: 3 DAYS IN MALAY, debuting on Blu-ray™ and DVD October 17; and WARHORSE ONE on Blu-ray™and DVD November 7.
Inspired by historical events, 3 DAYS IN MALAYfollows a small group of dedicated soldiers who must defend an airfield for three days against the Japanese assault during the fight for Malay in WWII. Directed by and starring Louis Mandylor (director of Blindsided, actor in Hell Hath No Fury, My Big Fat Greek Wedding franchise), 3 DAYS IN MALAY also stars Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone (Outlaw Johnny Black), Peter Dobson (Forrest Gump, The Frighteners), Ryan Francis (Hook, The Getback), Randall J. Bacon (Fast Vengeance), and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (The A-Team).
WARHORSE ONE follows a desperate civilian rescue attempt set in motion shortly after the 2021 withdrawal of the United States military from Afghanistan. After a SEAL team helicopter is downed en route to the rendezvous point, the lone surviving operator must evade hostile insurgents and navigate treacherous terrain while guiding his one remaining charge—a traumatized young girl—to safety. Co-directed by first-time director Johnny Strong & veteran William Kaufman (The Hit List, Shrapnel), WARHORSE ONE stars Johnny Strong (Black Hawk Down, The Fast and the Furious), newcomer Athena Durner, Raj Kala (Black Adam,Mayday), newcomer James Sherrill, and Siya Rostami (Black Easter).
