We actually have some casting news to inform you of today as it also looks like the SAG strike might be officially coming to an end. Deadline is bringing word that Kellan Lutz and Cam Gigandet, who both starred in the Twilight series, are reuniting for a new crime thriller called Desert Dawn.
The film, which is being helmed by Marty Murray was penned by resident action scribe maestro Chad Law along with Johnny Walters and action coordinator and filmmaker Art Camacho. Resident Sniper franchise star Chad Michael Collins is also set to star in the pic which makes it an official hat trick of action stars.
While Lutz and Gigandet’s characters clashed in Twilight, this time the actors team up as the newly appointed small-town sheriff (Lutz) and his begrudging deputy (Gigandet) who get tangled in a web of lies and corruption involving shady businessmen and the cartel while investigating the murder of a mysterious woman. Per Deadline.

Writer and producer Chad Law has had a very busy 2023 as he’s also penned the features The Flood, The Getback, Shrapnel and the most recent release Till Death Do Us Part. This will be the third movie starring Gigandet who also starred in the latter two films.
Desert Dawn is currently in production now so Lock N Load for more Intel to follow as we are your Action Fix!!!!
