As foreign action films go, most fans gravitate towards Asia to get their adrenaline fix but India is still making its case for putting out high quality ultra-action with films that contain the most insane set pieces imaginable. The action scenes in Indian movies literally chew up the screen with jaw dropping, gravity defying sequences that out a lot of other films to shame.
Well, India is representing at this week’s Fantastic Fest in Austin, TX., with a more stripped down and brutal picture called appropriately enough, Kill. What does one special ops soldier do when the train he’s on is boarded by a band of killers? He unleashes his signature skills, that’s what. Check out the Intel on this bad ass sounding entry at the fest below!

SYNOPSIS:
In Nikhil Nagesh Bhat’s relentless martial arts thriller, a passenger train bound for New Delhi becomes a bloody battleground of brutal close-quarters combat as a pair of commandos square off against a 40-strong army of invading bandits.
Lakshya, Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala round out the cast with Nikhil Nagesh Bhat helming. The film is notable for being Bollywood’s first foray into this kind of high-octane action genre franchise. The film’s lead Lakshya, who portrays a commando soldier fighting to protect a train full of innocent passengers from dangerous robbers, stars in a breakout performance that can help launch him into a noted action star in India and beyond.
Two highly trained commandos against army of bloodthirsty killers in brutal CQB action? Yes please! With action choreography by Se-yeong Oh and Parvez Shaikh, this one promises to be brutal and savage with some of the most ferocious fight action ever captured on film. Sounds utterly delicious to me. Really looking forward to checking this one out.
Kill will make its debut tomorrow with subsequent showings on Tuesday. Click below for ticket Intel!
