We’ve been posting some pretty rad clips from Expend4bles over the last day so you can bet that the John Wick universe isn’t going to lay down without a proper fight. Peacock has issued one hell of an action clip from their new 3 part limited series even The Continental: From the World of John Wick and would you know it. The scene is a bevy of Gun Fu mayhem for all to enjoy. Check it out below!
Official Synopsis: The three-part event will explore the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott, as he’s dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970’s New York City to face a past he thought he’d left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his future throne.

This limited series is looking damn good and it has a theatrical sheen to it that is a plus. Fans will definitely get their fill of 87Eleven created action choreography and this clip is vivid proof to that regard.
Colin Woodell as a young Winston stars along with Ayomide Adegun as a young Charon, Hubert Point-Du Jour as Miles, Jessica Allain as Lou, Mishel Prada as KD, Nhung Kate as Yen, Ben Robson as Frankie, Peter Greene as Uncle Charlie, Jeremy Bobb as Mayhew, Ray McKinnon as Jenkins, Adam Shapiro as Lemmy, Mark Musashi as Hansel, Marina Mazepa as Gretel, and Katie McGrath as The Adjudicator. The one and only Mel Gibson stars too who stars as Cormac , the head of the New York Branch in the 70’s where the prequel takes place.
The Continental certainly has slick production values and looks to be a welcome prequel for the hit franchise. If anything, fans will get their fix of anti-hero laced Gun Fu bloodshed so by all means, check in on September 22nd. Try to avoid the bullets of course.
