Gal Gadot mentioned that there was still a Wonder Woman film in development with James Gunn’s DCU but new reports say that’s not the case. What is going on is anyone’s guess but we do know that here latest actioner Heart of Stone is unleashing on Netflix tomorrow. She may or may not be the iconic DC superhero but she definitely is action unchained in this new thriller. Check out the latest and final trailer below!
Synopsis: Gadot is an unassuming computer tech who’s actually an undercover agent for the Charter— a global spy network that’s kept secret even from other spy networks,” reads the synopsis. “Using high-tech artificial intelligence that keeps them a step ahead of their enemies, the Charter is seemingly unstoppable. But when Stone infiltrates an MI6 team that’s being taunted by a mysterious ace hacker, she’ll need all of her skills to navigate the deadly world of espionage that’s about to confront her. Stone is as cool and canny as they come, but even she needs a little help from her friends.
Tom Harper helmed the full throttle pic from a screenplay penned by Allison Schroeder and Greg Rucka. Gadot is joined in the cast by Jamie Dornan (Belfast) as Parker, Alia Bhatt (RRR) as Keya Dhawan, Matthias Schweighöfer as Jack of Hearts, Sophie Okonedo as Nomad, Paul Ready as Max Bailey, and Jing Lusi as Theresa Yang
Who really knows what happened with Gadot and DCU and Warner Bros. but we do know that Heart of Stone looks all kinds of awesome with exhilarating set pieces and Gadot establishing once again that she is a bona fide action star.
