Andrew Koji is one of the most underrated action stars working today? Oh, I’m sorry. I forgot that I already mentioned that like a hundred times already. Koji is one lethal MFer and each role he does just proves my point. Say what you will about the recent Snake Eyes: GI Joe Origins but there is no denying that he elevated that film with his brooding presence and iron fisted physicality.
Koji is back in season 3 of the hit series WARRIOR and MAX (formerly known as HBOMAX) has unleashed an extended trailer and awesome key art for the show that takes its cues from the teachings of the one and only Bruce Lee. Throw in The Raid’s Joe Taslim and this show is loaded with martial arts supremacy. Watch the martial arts chaos and Andrew Koji doing his thing below!!!
Official Synopsis:
Season 3 picks up in the wake of the race riots that upended Chinatown in Season 2, Mai Ling (Dianne Doan) uses her government connections to consolidate power. At the same time, Ah Sahm (Andrew Koji) and the Hop Wei must find new ways to survive. (Per Deadline)

Warrior also stars Olivia Cheng, Jason Tobin, Kieran Bew, Dean Jagger, Tom Weston-Jones, Hoon Lee, Perry Yung, Langley Kirkwood, Miranda Raison, Chen Tang, Chelsea Muirhead, with martial arts heavyweights Mark Dacascos and Joe Taslim.
I have to admit that I’m behind on my Warrior seasons due to a busy and hectic schedule but I’m now on season 2 and will do a proper Action Fix Podcast when I’m finished. I have to ask as to why Andrew Koji isn’t a bigger star than he is as he absolutely crushes everything he’s in physically and dramatically. He’s crazy fast and deadly with his skills and he oozes gravitas on a major level. Say what you will about the latest Snake Eyes film (I liked it as s lifelong fan 🤫) but Koji was solid as hell in it.
Warrior is the perfect blend of old school martial arts action and new wave storytelling that pays homage to yesteryear when these films ruled the airwaves and video stores. The action set pieces are fierce and the stories are intriguing and such the viewer right in.
