It would appear that Hollywood icon and action god Sylvester Stallone has finally accepted just how old he truly is. According to Deadline, Sly is set to produce and star in a new action-comedy from Amazon Studios titled Never too Old to Die. The film will see Stallone starring as a hero of the Cold War who goes on a personal mission to find an assassin in a retirement home for spies when one of their own is murdered. Sounds catchy and Stallone definitely is at his best when poking a little fun at himself.

From a script by Brian Otting, the film follows a mysterious murder within a retirement home for spies sparking a Cold War hero’s personal mission to find the assassin living among them. Per Deadline

Stallone recently signed a first look deal with Amazon Studios and this marks the very first movie for his Balboa Productions banner under the new endeavor. The landmark deal will see Stallone producing, directing and starring in multiple film and television projects for the streaming giant so buckle up because Sly still isn’t ready to call it quits yet.

The action star will next be seen in Expendables 4 which will see him pass the torch to franchise co-star Jason Statham. That film will see a September 22nd launch after being in development for years now since the last one came out.
