Ah yes, 2023 is finally here and with it the promise of a new load of battle worthy action films to sink our teeth into. I’m still behind and am currently working on my best of 2022 list but I wanted to share the new trailer for one of my must anticipated films this year.

Aaron Eckhart and Jonathan Rhys Meyers headline the new Vietnam War action-drama Ambush and one thing you should know is war films are one of my favorite sub genres. Check out the new and intense footage from the film which was helmed by Mark Burman.

Official Synopsis: When a small outpost is ambushed, a US Army squad must take the battle below ground on a high-stakes mission in a new type of warfare the likes of which they have never seen.

Back in the 80’s and 90’s, the Vietnam themed movie and TV series was one of my go to for entertainment. From the lines of Tour Of Duty to the unflinching Film Hamburger Hill, these are the films and show I revisit often so hopefully this movie will be added to my collection. The Trailer definitely leaves the viewer with enough gravitas and extreme war action and drama that’s for sure.

The explosive war epic also stars Connor Paolo (The Stakelander) and will hit select theaters and VOD February 24th!
