Netflix has given us a treat today with a new and longer trailer for Cobra Kai season 5. After the shocking turn of events in season 4, Thomas Ian Griffith’s Terry Silver begins to tighten the vice on the valley and Daniel is all out in stopping him. But will it come at a price?
Johnny (William Zabka) is taking the defeat from last year pretty hard but no worries as he’s ready to teach some lessons in the closing minutes of the trailer. We also get a glimpse of Martin Kove’s Kreese in prison. From the look of things, he’s doing just fine.
Interestingly enough, we have not seen Mike Barnes (Sean Kanan) yet. After the image was released of The Karate Kid 3’s bad boy, I was sure he would figure in this new trailer. Well played Netflix.

Old enemies unite and new adversaries pose an even greater threat and more than ever! Check out the new footage below!
Following the shocking results of the All Valley Tournament, Sensei Terry Silver is expanding the Cobra Kai empire and trying to make his “No Mercy” style of karate the only game in town. With Kreese behind bars and Johnny Lawrence setting karate aside to focus on repairing the damage he’s caused, Daniel LaRusso must call on an old friend for help.

The battle for the soul of the Valley may be over, but the war is just beginning. Cobra Kai Season 5 premieres September 9 only on Netflix.
