Well with the release of the billion dollar blockbuster Top Gun Maverick, you just knew that there would be knock offs galore. Well, here’s a first look at one of them named Born to Fly and it comes all the way from China. Check out Arty Dan’s take on the film after the teaser!

Starring Yibo Wang, Hu Jun and Dongyu Zhou, Top Gun 3, ah oh sorry, Born to Fly follows an elite fighter pilot (is there any other kind in these films) who is tasked with experimenting with a special, shiny, hi-tech jet. Of course, we all know that he’ll have to use it for real but hey, isn’t that part of the fun?

The movie was helmed by Liu Xiaoshi in his directorial debut. The release date is set for sometime this year so stay tuned!
