My apologies when I state that I wasn’t really aware of this movie and it looks like Sony wants it to be that way as a trailer has officially gone online for the war pic Devotion which opens on November 23rd. Detailing the Korean War and it’s pilots that fought a harrowing aerial assault, the film stars Top Gun Maverick’s Glenn Powell as Tom Hudner who looks like he’s really taking to aerial dogfighting movies and Jonathon Majors as Jesse Brown. The film tells the harrowing true story of two elite US Navy fighter pilots during the Korean War,” reads the synopsis. “Their heroic sacrifices would ultimately make them the Navy’s most celebrated wingmen.

Helmed by J.D. Dillard from a screenplay penned by Jake Crane and Jonathan A.H. Stewart, Devotion also stars Joe Jonas (Camp Rock) as Marty Goode, Christina Jackson as Daisy Brown, and Thomas Sadoski as Dick Cevoli.

Devotion flies into theaters this fall on November 23rd from Sony Pictures.
