It has been a long while since we have heard anything about the sci-fi epic Warriors of Future but it looks like there is finally light at the end of the tunnel. New trailers have launched showcasing the Chinese action extravaganza which stars Louis Koo and Sean Lau and they certainly pump up the theatrics for audiences awaiting the film. Official Synopsis: Warriors of Future follows a meteorite crashing down on a barren future Earth ravaged by pollution and global warming, bringing with it a fast-growing alien vine that purifies the planet but kills everything in its path. Armed with the plant’s genetic map, the heavily armored military of an unnamed city tries but fails to destroy it and uncovers a conspiracy.

Helmed by Ng Yuen-Fai, who is regarded as one of the elite special effects masters in cinema, the movie also stars Nick Cheung (The White Storm), and Carina Lau (Detective Dee: The Four Heavenly Kings).

This one has been kicking around for years and I even did articles for it on my old website before transferring over to this one. It feels good to finally see it coming out and hopefully international fans like myself will be able to partake in the futuristic military action sooner rather than later.
