Not to be outdone by Warner Bros. and DC who dropped a tantalizing new trailer for Black Adam this morning, Marvel Studios has dropped yet another trailer for July’s Thor: Love and Thunder. The latest tease which gives away even more of the movie shows off the son of Odin fighting alongside The Guardians of the Galaxy. Pre-Sale for tickets hits this Monday so check out the latest tease to get you excited for this summer’s latest MCU delight.

“The film finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi), and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.”

The newest spot is more of a TV spot and only lasts 30 seconds long, but it is enough to get you hyped even more for all the bombastic mayhem to come courtesy of director Taika Waititi who returns to helm once again. Chris Hemsworth is back as Thor, and he stars along with Natalie Portman, Taika Waititi, Christian Bale, Karen Gillan, Chris Pratt, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Jamie Alexander, Tessa Thompson, and Russell Crowe also starring. Matt Damon, Sam Neill, Melissa McCarthy, Luke Hemsworth, and Sean Gunn also make surprise appearances in the film.

Thor: Love and Thunder reins down in theaters on July 8, 2022.
