We’ve got some breaking news regarding filmmaker Michael Matteo Rossi’s latest action-thriller. The director of the surprise hit indie actioner The Handler is back at it with a new film titled The Charisma Killers. Major casting news has been unveiled and we have the official press release below!

Vanessa Angel (Kingpin) and Vernon Wells (Commando) has joined the upcoming action thriller film directed by Michael Matteo Rossi “The Charisma Killers” set to be shot in October of this year. The casting has begun and also includes Jordan James Smith, Jason Scott Jenkins and Hoyt Richards.

The Official Synopsis Reads: When the old mentor of 7 killers finds out he has terminal cancer, he gives them all an opportunity at his fortune to prove themselves for one night only to exact revenge.

“We are just beginning the casting process and it’s going extremely well and this film more than any other that I’ve done so far requires the utmost attention to the characters being played. I’m very excited to direct this one,” Rossi said in an official statement.

Rossi is fresh off directing his upcoming action pic The Sweepers and also has the indie feature Shadows hitting next month.
