UPDATE: 9 BULLETS- Lena Headey Faces Off Against Sam Worthington in the Official Trailer for the Nail Biting Action-Thriller Hitting Theaters & VOD in April!

UPDATE: Screen Media Films has officially released the new trailer and key art for the upcoming action/thriller 9 Bullets. The film sees Lena Heady squaring off against Sam Worthington in order to protect a young boy.

(Original Post) Lena Headey is no stranger to action having starred in the short lived TV series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles as well as the hit HBO series Game Of Thrones. Headey was most recently seen doing some fine Gun Fu action in Netflix’s Gunpowder Milkshake so she’s definitely been battle tested in cinema.

Headey returns in April as Screen Media is set to release the action/thriller 9 Bullets which sees her playing protector for a young boy in harms way. To make matters worse, she’s up against her former ex played by Sam Worthington who also happens to be the local crime boss.

9 BULLETS Official Synopsis:
A former burlesque dancer turned author (Lena Headey) discovers a second chance at life and redemption when she risks everything to rescue her young neighbor after he witnesses his parents murder. Now on the run from the local crime boss (Sam Worthington), who happens to be her longtime ex, she makes a desperate attempt to get the boy to safety.

The supporting cast includes Dean Scott Vasquez (Transformers: Rise of the Beasts), La La Anthony (Power), and Barbara Hershey (Black Swan).

Written and directed by Gigi Gaston (Rip it Off), the film follows a burlesque dancer turned author who suddenly finds herself the guardian of her young neighbor after he witnesses his parents’ murder.
