Fanboys will have to wait even longer to watch the upcoming DC films as the whole slate has shifted and the movies have been pushed back once again affirming that I hate going to the movies any more. Once again the word is that the delays are due to COVID so here we go yet again.
Below is the complete list of schedule changes for all the DC films:
DC League of Super-Pets changes from May 22nd to July 29th, 2022
Black Adam changes from July 29th to October 21st, 2022
The Flash changes from November 4th to June 23rd, 2023.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom changes from December 16th to March 17th, 2023.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods changes from June 2nd, 2023 to December 16th, 2022 (This is the only DC film that actually moved up)
The Rock is pretty excited for the shift in dates for his Black Adam as he posted the great news on Instagram. Apparently, he doesn’t mind that we have to wait longer to see it.
In other Warner Bros. release news, we have a definite date for the Jason Statham led sequel Meg 2: The Trench. The Stath will do battle with more gargantuan, prehistoric sharks when the movie hits theaters on August 4, 2023. That is until they change that date as well.
I don’t understand how The Batman could could come out last weekend and break bank but some studios are still delaying movies. Evidently people don’t care anymore about the virus and are going out to cinemas so how about we just put these movies out already.
OK, I’m done ranting for now so keep it locked and loaded right here for more delays to come as we are your destination for everything action in 2022 and beyond!
