It’s been a while since we’ve heard about the upcoming action-thriller Exiled: The Chosen Ones from filmmaker Ranjeet S. Maraw but it looks like things are starting to pick up for the blood soaked pic that features the return of Sunny Pang (Headshot, The Night Comes for Us).

Marwa has debuted one of three new key art for the film which assembles the cast which includes Pang as well as Hannah Al Rashad (The Night Comes for Us), Nick Kahn (Tribal: Get Out Alive) and Foxtrot Six and The Raid 2’s Oka Antara.

After a man-made virus failed to reduce the world’s overpopulated areas, global leaders would start a new program that would legitimize a new venture in a game show. The game would be broadcast live, where random contestants would be exiled into a concrete jungle, forced to kill each other for their freedom. Viewers would place their bets on who had a chance at survival. Be that as it may…no one survives the game.

Marwa definitely has a unique vision here and if this one is like his other offerings in the past then genre viewers are in for one wild and extreme ride. Marwa is also known for the documentary COVID-19: The Impact on Asian Cinema which highlighted the effects the virus has had on the industry.

From the footage we’ve already seen, the set pieces are going to be quite brutal and unapologetic. This looks like it’ll be horror movie violent and will give the latest Texas Chainsaw Massacre a run for its money.
