MMA fighter turned actress Gina Carano has been a hot bed of controversy as of late but it seems like she has found a new hone with the conservative group The Daily Wire who is getting in on film film production circuit. Personally, I could care less about Ms. Carano’s views but this is the society we live in.

A new trailer has surfaced for Carano’s new western Terror on the Prairie which also features resident bad guy Matthias Hues and we’ve got you’re first look for you below!

Official Synopsis: On the Montana plains, a frontier woman must protect herself against a ruthless gang of outlaws hell-bent on revenge.

Michael Polish (Northfork, Force Of Nature) helms the pic which also stars Travis Mills (Counting Bullets), Rhys Becker, Izzy Marshall, Jeremy Gauna, and Thomas White Eagle. Also in the case are Nick Searcy (Justified), MMA star Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone, stand-up Tyler Fischer, Heath Freeman (Skateland) and Samaire Armstrong (The O.C.). Carano also serves as producer.

Carano has not done a western in the past so this one should be interesting to see if it’s strictly shoot ‘em up or if she’ll duke out some empty handed action. The above trailer does tease some frontier action however and Carano is packing some firepower but the minute tease really doesn’t offer up much besides a bleak looking film.
