DEN OF THIEVES 2: PANTERA- The Gerard Butler led Action Follow Up Targets a Spring Shoot in Europe.

We finally have an announcement in regards to the follow to Gerard Butler’s Den of Thieves. The film which will reunite Butler with O’Shea Jackson and Meadow Williams is eyeing a spring production start in Europe. It is also being reported that Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is attached as a producer although that could change into more in the future. The sequel is titled Den of Thieves 2: Pantera.

Per Deadline: Butler returns as Big Nick (Butler), this time on the hunt in Europe for Donnie (Jackson Jr.) who is embroiled in the dangerous world of diamond thieves and the infamous Panther mafia as they plot a massive heist of the world’s biggest diamond exchange.

Christian Gudegast, who helmed and wrote the original, is set to return in both capacities again. In order to prepare for the sequel, Gudegast spent time researching the project by interviewing notorious thieves and the law enforcement investigators that hunted them. Swen Temmel (After) is a new addition to the cast.
