Sony Pictures is reveling in the success of Spider-Man: No Way Home so now they’re turning their sights on another hopeful money maker. Uncharted with Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg is right around the corner (if they don’t delay this one) and now we have a second trailer for the video game inspired adventure below!
Based on one of the best-selling, most critically acclaimed video game series of all time, Uncharted introduces audiences to the young street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and showcases his first treasure hunting adventure with wisecracking partner Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). In an action-adventure epic that spans the globe, the two go in dangerous pursuit of “the greatest treasure never found” while also tracking clues that may lead to Nathan’s long-lost brother.

The movie’s been in development for so long that at one time star Mark Wahlberg was supposed to play the role of young adventurer Nathan Drake. Spider-Man’s Tom Holland now occupies the role with Wahlberg now playing the grizzled mentor Victor “Sully” Sullivan.
The first trailer that hit a while back is packed with epic sized action and a healthy dose of the chemistry between the two leads. View the new footage above featuring more Holland and Wahlberg action and also promises grand action on an epic scope with some fan service for the video game aficionados.
Starring along with Wahlberg and Holland are Antonio Banderas, Sophia Taylor Ali, and Tati Gabrielle. Ruben Fleischer, who is the seventh director attached to the project, helms the movie which at one time was rumored to Star Chris Pratt and Nathan Fillion in the lead role as well.
Various setbacks including the pandemic have derailed the film but its now on track for a February 18, 2022 launch date in Theaters.
