On the heels of the news that action star Mark Dacascos has joined the new sequel to 47 Ronin, we have a trailer and release date for another film coming out featuring the icon named Run & Gun. Here it is quite evident that Dacascos has a minor role as a henchman but it’s always good to see him so check out the trailer and info below for the movie which hits next month!

After leaving a life of crime and violence, Ray is a reformed good guy, enjoying a quiet family life in the ‘burbs. But when his past is discovered, Ray is blackmailed into one last job to collect a mysterious package. After a deadly double-cross, he finds himself wounded and on the run from ruthless assassins who will stop at nothing to get what he has. Now, with the lives of his loved ones hanging in the balance and danger at every turn, Ray’s only hope is to draw upon his violent past to survive.

The movie also stars Ben Milliken, Brad William Henke, Janel Parrish, Celestino Cornielle, Angela Sarafyan, Alison Thorton, Hudson Yang, Michelle Campbell, Ari Barkan, Rafael Cebrián, and Richard Kind.

This entry in the genre looks action packed and humorous as well so it’s giving me a quirky and dark comedy kind of vibe to it. Ben Milliken looks solid in the lead too so it looks worth checking out.

Run & Gun hits Digital and VOD January 11
with a subsequent launch on DVD January 25.
