THE CONTINENTAL: The Prequel Series Casts Colin Woodell as the Young Winston Scott Plus More Casting Announcements

After yesterday’s big reveal that Mel Gibson will be involved in the John Wick prequel series The Continental, Deadline is bringing word that the series has found it’s younger version of Winston Scott played masterfully by Ian McShane.
According to the site, Colin Woodell (The Flight Attendant) will play the role in the series which will see a special three night event on Starz.
Other casting announcements have been made as well with Hubert Point-Du Jour (The Good Lord Bird), Jessica Allain (The Laundromat), Mishel Prada (Vida), Nhung Kate (The Housemaid), and Ben Robson (AnimalKingdom) have enlisted for the series as well in undisclosed roles.
Albert Hughes will helm parts one and three of the event mini-series with Charlotte Brändström (The Lord of the Rings) taking the director’s chair for the second.
The exact role of Mel Gibson’s character in the John Wick prequel series isn’t known at this time but we do know that his name will be Cormac.
