This has definitely been a whirlwind day for DC fans and fanboys in general as DC Fandome has brought us exciting looks at The Batman, The Flash, Black Adam and more. Not to be outdone, Zachary Levi introduced the BTS teaser to his upcoming sequel SHAZAM! Fury of the Gods and with it a look at his new outfit!

Levi promises larger action set pieces, and exotic locations to highlight the follow up. We are also introduced to the cast including Helen Mirren who joins the sequel.

“We go from Athens to Philadelphia, The Library of Eternity, The Rock of Eternity, to the Realm of the Gods,” stated Levi in the BTS video.

Other new cast additions include Lucy Liu (Elementary), and Rachel Zegler (West Side Story) with the original cast returning as well including Jack Dylan Grazer and Adam Brody as Freddy, Faithe Herman and Meagan Good as Darla, Ian Chen and Ross Bulter as Eugene, Grace Fulton as Mary, Jovan Arman, D.J. Cotrona as Pedro, Marta Milans and Cooper Andrews.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods is being directed by David F. Sandberg who helmed the first one from a screenplay penned by Henry Gayden who returns as well.

The next chapter is set to hit theaters on June 2, 2023.
