ASSAULT ON RIO BRAVO: The New Trailer for Alexander Nevsky’s Action-Horror Western Hits with Both Guns Blazing as Sequel Plans are Launched! Exclusive Photos!

Former bodybuilding champion turned action star and filmmaker Alexander Nevsky is back and better than ever with his latest action offering which mixes genres with horror and western as the official trailer for Assault on Rio Bravo has hit. The film, from director Joe Cornet also stars 90’s action staples Matthias Hues and Olivier Gruner with veteran action maestro Art Camacho serving up the action direction.

To make the release even more sweeter, plans have been announced for a sequel to the film after its huge reception at Cannes. Check out the 411 along with the new footage and some exclusive images!

ALEXANDER NEVSKY AND JOE CORNET WILL MAKE A SEQUEL TO “ASSAULT ON RIO BRAVO”!
Western “Assault on Rio Bravo” was very well received by international distributors at Cannes Films Market in July and now it’s official: ETA Films, Hollywood Storm and San Rafael Productions will produce a sequel. Filming will start in November 2021.
Joe Cornet (Prayer for the Damned) will direct and executive produce again. Script will be written by Craig Hamman (Showdown in Manila). Alexander Nevsky (Black Rose) will be starring and producing. Joe Cornet, Matthias Hues (Dark Angel), Natalie Denise Sperl (Mank), actress/supermodel Anna Oris, Kerry Goodwin (Promise) and some other stars of “Assault on Rio Bravo” are expecting to return for another ride.
Eric Brenner (Crazy Heart) will serve as executive producer, Sean Murray (Call of Duty: Black Ops) will create a musical score. Art Camacho (Half Past Dead) will be responsible for fight choreography and stunts. Sam Wilkinson (Paydirt) will be again Director of Photography.
Joe Cornet’s previous Western “Promise” is available on Amazon Prime Video and all the Digital platforms. “Assault on Rio Bravo” was shot in Arizona this May and now is on the final stages of post-production.
