Exclusive Interview: Catching Up with Actor & Producer Tommy Lee Thomas- A Man of Faith and Action!

Action Flix: Tommy Lee, how have you been? What are you up to these days?

Tommy: Hi John, good to hear from you. I am doing well. Been a tough season for all of us during Covid, but all things considered I have a lot to be thankful for…

Are you working on any new projects?

As a matter of fact, I am just starting a new script that deals with redemption, faith and overcoming substance abuses, something I know a good deal about myself…

Really, what’s it about and can you tell us more about it?

I have gone through a lot both personally and professionally in the last few years…We lost one of my best friends, mentors, producing partners and co-stars, Franco Columbu in 2019…I was devastated by this loss as was so many others, including Franco’s best friend, Arnold Schwarzenegger…Franco and I had planned to do at least 3 more films together before he died….

Yes we were very sorry to have heard of his passing also….

So as a result I am writing a new script that I intend to produce that will be my most personal film yet. I have not shared this publicly yet, but I have had a problem with alcohol in my personal life these last few years, but with the help of my family, friends and God I am working to get past it and back on top of it…this new film will depict some of what I have gone through personally to hopefully also encourage others that there is help out there for alcohol problems and with God’s help we can overcome that horrible disease…I am very excited about this project!
