Matthew Vaughn’s latest entry in the KINGSMAN franchise has yet to be released but the prolific filmmaker is already eyeing his latest endeavor and it’s locked and loaded with some serious star power including Henry Cavill, John Cena and more. The new project is a spy thriller ripe for franchise potential titled ARGYLLE and its packing some serious heat.
The who’s who cast assembled includes Henry Cavill (The Witcher, Justice League), John Cena(F9, The Suicide Squad), Samuel L. Jackson (MCU films), Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World: Dominion), Catherine O’Hara (Schitt’s Creek), Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), and Oscar-winning actor and Sam Rockwell (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri). The movie is an adaptation of Argylle, which is based on author Ellie Conway’s forthcoming spy novel and it is expected to commence production this coming August in Europe with a release set for sometime in 2022.
Cavill shared a teaser image of the ambitious project which is said to be the first of three films in a new franchise.
With the level of star power involved, this will surely be highly anticipated and one has to wonder if Cavill will ever Don the iconic “S” again in a movie. It is great to see Cavill headlong yet another potential franchise and he’s definitely leading action man status so hopefully this will deliver.
Keep it locked and loaded right here for more to follow as we are your destination for everything action!
