The Critically Acclaimed Martial Arts Epic THE SWORDSMAN Hits the UK on Blu-Ray, DVD & Digital this May!

After a successful run here in the states when it was released a few months back, the critically acclaimed martial arts epic, The Swordsman is ready to take on the UK as Trinity CineAsia has announced that the sword clanging, blood soaked period Actioner will finally hit home video and Digital in May. We have a new domestic trailer, key art and images as well for you to check out so indulge below!

Synopsis:

After being partially blinded in a coup against the king, legendary swordsman Tae-yul (Jang Hyuk, Tell Me What You Saw, Volcano High) goes into hiding, living a quiet, peaceful life with his daughter. However, when political unrest leads to traffickers kidnapping his daughter, Tae-yul has no choice but to take up arms once more. In a race against time, losing his sight and with innocent lives hanging in the balance, he must also face a dangerous new nemesis (Joe Taslim, Mortal Kombat, The Raid).

Trinity CineAsia presents The Swordsman on DVD & Digital 17th May and Blu-ray from 24th May

The Swordsman has gotten done really good buzz when it was released over here so this one is on my list to check out as Joe Taslim looks like an good addition as the antagonist and the movie looks like it features some amazing sword fighting choreography.
