S.A.S. RED NOTICE: Elite Operatives Strike Back in the Explosive Trailer for the Sky Films Actioner!

By: John M Jerva

It’s time to get your British action fix on as a new trailer, key art and images have been released for the upcoming Sky Films original action-thriller S.A.S. Red Notice. The film boasts a pretty impressive cast including Ruby Rose, Outlander’s Sam Heughan and Andy Serkis. Based on the best selling books of former British soldier turned author Andy McNab, the film is poised and ready for a March 12th release on Sky Cinema. Check out the thrills below!

A small army of well trained criminals led by Laszlo Antonov have hijacked the Eurostar deep beneath the English Channel. Now with 400 hostages, the plan is to blow up the English Channel declaring economic war on a government with plenty of their own secrets. Little do they know, they have one too many hostages, as SAS operator Tom Buckingham (Sam Heughan) is hidden somewhere, injured, on the train. With the woman he loves and an unborn baby also on board, Tom has one chance to stop Laszlo and his band of criminals. And he will unleash all he has in order to save his love and the rest of the passengers.

Helmed by Magnus Martins, the cast also includes Tom Wilkinson, Hannah John-Kamen and Tom Hopper who played in the B action throwback movie Kill Ratio. Certainly getting a nifty Strike Back vibe with this one which is probably because Sky One was behind the series when it was on and there looks to be enough stunt filled mania to satisfy genre fans and Rose is in fighting shape once again and is playing the heavy here but she still is utilizing her onscreen fighting skills she harnessed in the recent action pic The Doorman.

The trailer includes ample moments of bullet riddled carnage and hand to hand mayhem with massive explosions and exploding helicopters so I’ll definitely be checking this one out upon its release in March. In the meantime, check out the new footage at once and get ready to lock and load.
