HEROES RETURN: Martial Arts Legend Yuen Biao Leads the Charge in the Trailer for the New Actioner!

By: John M Jerva

With a domestic release date set for January 30th, we have a new look at the Chinese action thriller Heroes Return which sees legendary martial arts actor Yuen Biao in action once again. Check out the bullet riddled teaser below!

Die hard martial arts enthusiasts certainly know who Yuen Biao is and what he’s done in modern action cinema back in the day. The icon had starred in some of the most famous Hong Kong action flicks like Wheels on Meals and Above the Law and at one time was one-third of the martial arts trio which also included Jackie Chan and Sammo Hueng.

Biao has been low key in recent years while still appearing in some films here and there like The Bodyguard but not until now has he come back with a fury.

Helmed by Hu Guo, Biao stars along with Ray Lui (Flashpoint), Ken Tong (Chasing the Dragon), Ng Man Tat (Shaolin Soccer), Kathy Chow (Cheap Killers) and Raquel Xu (Chasing the Dragon) and if the above one sheet is any indication, it looks like Biao will see some serious action.

The action looks non-stop and the body count looks massive to say the least in this one and it’s certainly welcoming to see Biao back in action again. Just like his 80’s partner in crime, Jackie Chan, Biao looks great.
