Update: On the heels of the tease that was released yesterday, RLJE Films has officially dropped the full and extended trailer to Archenemy which features Joe Manganiello in a brooding and bruising dark take on the superhero film. (Original Post) RLJE Films just acquired the new dark and bruising superhero film Archenemy which features Joe Manganiello and now we have a tease of the full trailer that’s gonna hit this coming Tuesday. This one looks like it’s gonna be an original take on the super hero sub genre and it’s definitely going to be dark and brooding.

Written and directed by Adam Egypt Mortimer (Daniel Isn’t Real), the film stars Joe Manganiello (“True Blood”), Skylan Brooks (“Empire”), Zolee Griggs (“W-Tang: An American Saga”), Amy Seimetz (Pet Semetary) and Glenn Howerton (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”).

In ARCHENEMY, Max Fist (Manganiello) claims to be a hero from another dimension who fell through time and space to Earth, where he has no powers. No one believes his stories except for a local teen named Hamster. Together, they take to the streets to wipe out the local drug syndicate and its vicious crime boss known as The Manager.

RLJE Films is armed and ready to release Archenemy on December 11th in select theaters and Digital/VOD so check out the trailer tease and check back on Tuesday for the full reveal!
