Here’s something cool that dropped into my email box today. We might have to wait longer for the big screen adaptation of Snake-Eyes: GI Joe Origins but indie genre filmmaker has you covered in the meantime as he has taken the initiative and made his own short fan film made on the iconic GI Joe ninja commando. The short is available now on Vimeo for all to enjoy during the lockdown so enjoy and check out this kick ass love letter to one of the greatest comic book and toy characters of all time!

The one man film crew has rebelled against the lockdown and went out and made his first short fan film. Directors making feature films don’t usually downgrade to fan films but in this case, you’ll be glad this one did as Rene Perez has made a ninja fan film based on the GI Joe character of Snake Eyes.

Victoria Olona

Starring Beauty Queen Miss Nevada 2020 Victoria Olona as Snake Eyes’ wife and seventh degree black belt martial artist Juan Manuel Olmedo as title character of Snake-Eyes.

Juan Manuel Olmedo

Produced by Joseph Camilleri, this fan film is free to all on youtube in HD and for those wanting to watch in 4k ultra HD, which we suggest you do, see it at Viemo.

Rene Perez and Joseph Camilleri are the same team that made the controversial Insurrection movie. A film that was blacklisted for it’s anti-woke / anti-hollywood stance and is only available for a limited time on Amazon.

It’s no secret that Snake Eyes is one of most beloved characters of all time so this shirt film from Perez is a godsend as we have to wait till sometime next year to see the theatrical version with Henry Golding and Andrew Koji.

The short is polished and adrenaline inducing and Olmedo does a fantastic job as the title warrior. Fans should get more than their fill with this one!
