Well at the same time I’m sad to see the long running CBS reboot Hawaii 5-O finally say Aloha after 10 glorious seasons, I’m also excited as the show will officially get a proper send off with a two hour season finale no less.

Well buckle up action fanatics because the finale just got a whole lot more kick ass as it was just confirmed yesterday via TVLine.com that action and martial arts icon Chuck Norris is joining the last episode! This will mark an end to Norris’ long hiatus from in front of the camera as his brief cameo in The Expendables 2 was the last time we saw him on screen.

Per TVLine: Chuck Norris will play the role of “Lee Phillips, a retired sergeant major who is helping his mentee, Lincoln Cole (to be played by MacGyver alum Lance Gross), hide from authorities in order to protect his anonymity. (As previously reported, when Cole finds himself potentially in harm’s way, Five-0 is brought in to protect him.)

Phillips trained Lincoln, who is now a decorated former Marine Gunnery Sergeant with the Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Team, so you can rest assured that the retired vet is quite the badass himself.”

Now Norris is 79 years young so chances are he won’t be kicking up a storm but maybe, just maybe, he’ll pull out his pistol and go all Walker: Texas Ranger on the bad guys. We will have to wait and see what transpires when the finale hits on Friday, April 3rd at 8/9c.

Of course, I have been a fan of Mr. Norris ever since I first saw him take out the trash in Lone Wolf McQuade so this makes the series finale to a show that I cheerished for all these years that much more sweeter.

Norris will join series regulars Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan,  Ian Anthony Dale, Taylor Wily, Dennis Chun, Kimee Balmilero and Chi McBride and Katrina Law (Spartacus, Arrow) who was added this year.

Keep it locked and loaded right here for the first footage of Norris on the show when the teaser hits!
