By: John M Jerva

A few weeks ago we got our first look at some promotional posters for the streaming platform Quibi’s new action/thriller series which featured stars Liam Hemsworth and Christoph Waltz I’m yet another adaptation of the classic Most Dangerous Game.

Now we have a new teaser with our first look at footage from the series which sees Hemsworth’s character Dodge Maynard (I love that name by the way. It’s such a great action name) bring thrust into a do or die race for survival when he is hunted for sport.

Official Synopsis per Deadline: The series, from Scorpion creator Nick Santora, Gordon Gray, Silver Reel Pictures and CBS Television Studios, explores the limits of how far someone would go to fight for their life and their family. Desperate to take care of his pregnant wife before a terminal illness can take his life, Dodge Maynard (Hemsworth) accepts an offer to participate in a deadly game where he soon discovers that he’s not the hunter… but the prey.

The Quibi platform will launch on April 6th and it will be a short video platform service that will offer series that will run 2 to 4 hours in length. The deal is that the episodes will run in quick 10 minute installments which will be quite interesting. That is where the platform gets its name from as it stands for “Quick Bites.”

Other cast members include Sarah Gadon, Zach Cherry, Aaron Poole, Christopher Webster, Billy Burke and Natasha Bordizzo with CBS TV Studios producing.

This trailer comes on the heels of another Quibi series that debuted a trailer which is a new version of The Fugitive and stars Kiefer Sutherland and Boyd Holbrook.

The streaming service will launch on April 6th do check out the newest trailer below!
