By: John M Jerva

Indie filmmaker Thomas J. Churchill, who is known for such action pics as Checkpoint and The Hard Way with Michael Jai White and Luke Goss, is back in the action saddle once again with his newest offering titled Nation’s Fire which adds itself to the eclectic mix of recent female centric action films that show off women in strong action related roles and totally kicking the appropriate amounts of ass in the process.

The film was recently picked up by Vision Films and now we have an official release date of January 21st according to the site Hollywood Digest. Churchill is best known for putting out some pretty raw horror genre films but lately he has been dabbling in the coveted action genre with Nation’s Fire being his most recent effort. Judging from the teaser below, there will be no shortage of bullets dispensed and bad guys hitting the floor. Check out the official poster art below!

Official Synopsis:  The leader of an all-female motorcycle club abandons her gang to raise her son. Meanwhile, certain members of their all-male counterpart gang establish an underground drug ring led by a ruthless criminal. When her son is killed in a school shooting caused by the drugs and he is named as the shooter, the leaders of both clubs rally to seek retaliation for her son’s death and to clear his name.

The movie has a great cast as well which includes Krista Grotte Saxon who plays the role of Gloria, a former soldier and biker gang leader who sets out on a mission of vengeance after her son is brutally killed in a sensless shooting. The star studded cast also includes Bruce Dern, Gil Bellows, former UFC great Chuck Liddell, Lou Ferrigno, Jr. from CBS’ SWAT, Tom Proctor Kriten Renton, Laurene Landon and one of my favorite action actors in Paul Sloan who has been in such pics as I Am Wrath, Vigilante Diaries, and The Night Crew as well as the upcoming Heretic.

Vision Films will release the bad ass tale of one mother’s vengeance on DVD and Digital on January 21st so before you pre-order, check out the rad trailer for the film below!
