Last week saw the release of the trailer for Director Joe Begos’ new throwback action/horror flick VFW which has a stellar old school kick ass cast in Stephen Lang, William Sadler, Martin Kove, David Patrick Kelly and Fred “The Hammer” Williamson. Lang is in top form once again as always as he leads the charge in defense of his beloved VFW from a horde of mutant killers. Check out the new poster and trailer below!

SYNOPSIS: A typical night for a group of war veterans at the local VFW turns into an all-out battle for survival when a teenage girl runs into the bar with a bag of stolen drugs. Suddenly under attack from a gang of punk mutants looking to get back what’s theirs – at any cost – the vets use every weapon they can put together to protect the girl, and their VFW, in the biggest fight of their lives.

I’m loving the retro poster and look and feel of the film from the initial trailer so can’t wait to see how this one plays out as it will certainly bring back some nostalgic feelings for those great films of the past and this cast looks like it will serve up some high pumping action fun.

VFW hits select cinemas, Digital and VOD on February 14th of all dates because nothing says Happy Valentines Day like this kind of film. Check out the bloody mayhem in the official trailer below!
