Back in 2015, Suicide Squad 2 star Idris Elba starred in Netflix’s very first original movie called Beasts Of The Nation and now fast forward 4 years later, there have been numerous films streamed exclusively on the service.

Now Elba is ready to saddle up for another exclusive flick as he is set to star in the Western revenge thriller titled The Harder They Fall. The Hollywood Reporter dropped the news earlier today and it looks like Elba is at home doing action pics as of late. Elba will be on bad guy duties in this one as he will star alongside Jonathan Majors in a film that will feature an all black cast.

Per THR: The story follows outlaw Nat Love (Majors), who, upon discovering that the man (Elba) who killed his parents two decades previously is being released from prison, reunites with his gang to track his enemy down and seek his revenge.

Hip Hop mogul Jay-Z will produce the film with Jeymes Samuel, who is also known as the singer and songwriter The Bullitts, will be making his directorial debut.

As mentioned before, Elba will also star in director James Gunn’s DC sequel Suicide Squad 2 so Elba is definitely getting his workout in with all the action pics he’s been doing. The actor has also starred in the recent films The Take and the adaptation of the Stephen King novels The Dark Tower which also featured him as a nomadic gunslinger. You can see Elba from that film in the featured pic above.
