THE ASSET: Michael Keaton and Samuel L. Jackson Join Maggie Q for Director Martin Campbell’s New Action-Thriller!

News coming out of the American Film Markey has Hollywood stars and Oscar nominees Samual L. Jackson and Michael Keaton joining Nikita’s Maggie Q for the new action-thriller titled The Asset which hails from director Martin Campbell who is also nown for helming Jackie Chan’s The Foreigner as well as the James Bond action pic Casino Royale.

Per Dealine which broke the news: Written by Richard Wenk (The Equalizer 2), the story follows Rembrandt (Keaton) and Anna (Maggie Q), two of the world’s premier assassins who share a mysterious past from Vietnam. For years, they traversed the globe competing for high-profile contracts. But when Anna’s mentor Moody (Jackson) is murdered, she and Rembrandt must form an uneasy alliance and return to Vietnam to track down his killer.

Rush Hour franchise producer Arthur Sarkissian will also produce here along with  Moshe Diamant (The Hurricane Heist) and Rob Van Norden (Rambo: Last Blood). 

Production is set to commence on January 8th, 2020 with filming locales including London, Bucharest, and DaNang, Vietnam. Millenium Films is taking care of worldwide sales and Jeffrey Greenstein spoke on the excitement surrounding the project:

“The Asset is the whole package, and we are excited to bring Richard Wenk’s masterful, muscular script to life with the all-star talent of Michael, Samuel, and Maggie. Having a great director like Martin Campbell at the helm will make all the difference in turning this into a big, stylish, and action-packed thrill ride.”

This one sounds kick ass to say the least so keep it locked and loaded right her for more to come in the future!
