ANGEL HAS FALLEN: Gerard Butler Scores the Hat Trick in the Third Slam Bang Outing Hitting Blu-Ray in November!

I think I state every time I do a post about the Has Fallen franchise with Gerard Butler that his character of Mike Banning is this generation’s John McClane and with Willis delegating himself to bit roles in DTV titles as of late, it’s safe to say that Mr. Banning is one of the action genre’s premiere characters.

Butler kept the streak going this past summer when he released his third outing as Banning titled Angel Has Fallen which saw Mike having to go on the run when he is framed for an assassination attempt on the President now played by Morgan Freeman. To be expected, there is mass explosions and firepower to be had and Banning earns his reputation once again with another solid entry in the series.

The film is makinh its way to Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital this November and we have some pretty sweet box cover art for you below along with all the 411 on special features that are included. Check it out!

Authorities take Secret Service agent Mike Banning into custody for the failed assassination attempt of U.S. President Allan Trumbull. After escaping from his captors, Banning must evade the FBI and his own agency to find the real threat to the president. Desperate to uncover the truth, he soon turns to unlikely allies to help clear his name and save the country from imminent danger.

The third film also stars Jada Pinkett Smith (The Matrix Reloaded), Lance Reddick (John Wick) and Piper Perabo (Covert Affairs) as well as Mark Gill, Matt O’Toole, Alan Siegel, and John Thompson. Shot Collar’s Ric Roman Waugh helms this time around.
