This project sounds pretty interesting and now that Hugh Jackman has supposedly put Wolverine in his rear view mirror (notice how I said supposedly?), it comes time to talk about his next film venture that doesn’t require him to sing in a circus ring. My wife and girls love that movie by the way and I have to put the soundtrack on in my car for my 4 year old every time we go somewhere. Can you name the film?

The new film is titled Reminiscence and it sounds pretty interesting to say the least. The film stars Jackman in a “mind bending noir love story set in the dystopic near future of a nighttime, super heated flooded global warmed Miami.” Told you that it sounds interesting.

The news comes via Deadline and it also states that Hong Kong action Star Daniel Wu, who has been making waves over here as of late in AMC’s hit martial arts epic series Into The Badlands as well as the Tomb Raider reboot, has joined the cast. Not much is known about his character but it is known that he will be at odds with Jackman’s on screen persona.

The film will be helmed by Lisa Joy in her directorial debut. Joy is also an executive producer on HBO’s Westworld. The film is also set to star Rebecca Ferguson and Thandie Newton.

Warner Bros. and FilmNation are backing the project and we will, of course, have all the 411 on the project when we learn more. Keep it locked and loaded right here!
