BLOODSHOT: Vin Diesel is Valiant Comics’ Super Soldier in the First Official Adrenaline Pumping Trailer!

By: John M Jerva

Although it looks as if Sony’s Valiant Comics shared universe is in somewhat of a disarray as of late after Paramount Pictures acquirement of the Harbinger adaptation, I’m still excited to see star Vin Diesel’s take on the super soldier Bloodshot and now we have our first look as a new trailer has dropped today with some rather nifty footage. Check it out below along with the international trailer too!

Official Synopsis: After he and his wife are murdered, Marine Ray Garrison (played by Vin Diesel) is resurrected by a secret team of scientists. Enhanced with nanotechnology, he becomes a superhuman, biotech killing machine – “Bloodshot.” As Ray first trains with fellow super-soldiers, he cannot recall anything from his former life. But when his memories flood back and he remembers the man that killed both he and his beautiful wife, he breaks out of the facility hellbent on revenge, only to discover that there’s more to the conspiracy than he thought.

I’m sold when you see Diesel’s face get shit off and without a hitch, he raises his guns and opens fire. Sign me up! I know there will be critics out there but this looks fun and kick ass.

Helmed by Dave Wilson, who is best known for working with Deadpool Helmer Tim Miller at Blur Studios, the film also stars Toby Kebbell (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), Sam Heughan (Outlander), Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver),Talulah Riley (Westworld), Johannes Haukur Johannesson (Game of Thrones), Lamorne Morris (New Girl, Game Night), Guy Pearce (Prometheus) and Alex Hernandez (Unreal).

The script was penned by Eric Heisserer who is an Oscar nomination writer and Diesel is reunited with his Fast And Furious and original xXx producer Neil Moritz and the film is scheduled for a February 21st, 2020 release!
