I cannot wait for the third entry in the Has Fallen franchise titled Angel Has Fallen starring Gerard Butler and Lionsgate Films is wetting out appetite once again with a third trailer that unleashes Mike Banning as he tries to clear his name after he is framed for the assassination attempt of the President played by Morgan Freeman. Check out the carnage below!

When there is an assassination attempt on U.S. President Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman), his trusted confidant, Secret Service Agent Mike Banning (Gerard Butler), is wrongfully accused and taken into custody. After escaping from capture, he becomes a man on the run and must evade his own agency and outsmart the FBI in order to find the real threat to the President. Desperate to uncover the truth, Banning turns to unlikely allies to help clear his name, keep his family from harm and save the country from imminent danger.

The third installment was helmed by Ric Roman Waugh and also features
Jada Pinkett Smith (The Matrix Reloaded), Lance Reddick (John Wick) and Piper Perabo (Covert Affairs) as well as Mark Gill, Matt O’Toole, Alan Siegel, and John Thompson.

I have said many times in the past that Butler’s Mike Banning is the John McClane of a new generation and he owns this role. If this is the last one in the series then lets hope Banning goes out with all guns blazing!
