It’s almost time to lock ‘n’ load and go tactical for a third and final time as action icons Scott Adkins and Dolph Lundgren are gearing up as they reunite to take One Last Shot! The third entry in the action franchise from director James Nunn that showcases all its action and chaos in one continuous take is ready to unload and go full auto this fall and we have fresh new posters for the film which showcases Adkins and Lundgren battle ready. The official synopsis reads: Seasoned Navy SEAL Jake Harris (Scott Adkins) is called back into action when the world is threatened by disillusioned former comrade turned domestic terrorist, Elliot Carter (Steven Cree). With the Joint Chiefs of Staff held hostage in a nuclear bunker, time is running short before Carter extracts the nuclear codes and plunges the world into chaos. To track down and prevent the mastermind from taking control of the U.S. missile defence network, Harris must lead his team into enemy territory against a brutal barrage of mercenaries, deadly traps, and a reckoning with his own checkered past. Also starring Hannah Ware and Dolph Lundgren.
Adkins stars along with Steven Cree, Hannah Ware, Neil Linpow, Ray Fearon and Dolph Lundgren. The two icons have starred together five times now and fellow martial arts action legend Kane Kosugi, who took on Adkins in Ninja 2, also stars. James Nunn, who has helmed all three installments, directs again from a script penned by Jamie Russell. Ben Jacques produces.
A new image via Sony Pictures and Rotten Tomatoes is also live highlighting Adkins engaged in combat with an enemy combatant. One Last Shot is expected to deliver the same elite action design that the franchise and Adkins are known for so get ready for another masterclass in tactical action and chaos!
One Last Shot is due to deploy this fall so expect a trailer to drop anytime now. Tim Man, one of the elite action directors and choreographers working today, hooks up again with Adkins to assemble a bevy of extreme action sequences and fans know that they are in for a full-throttle good time. Ever since first collaborating on Ninja 2, Adkins and Man have been side by side for several more action epics including Boyka: Undisputed 4, Eliminators, Accident Man 1&2, Abduction, Triple Threat, Legacy of Lies, One Shot, One More Shot, and Castle Falls. It’s safe to say that if Adkins is starring in an action movie, Man will be right there to choreograph all the chaos. Man is a true talent who knows how to craft brutal ballet onscreen in such a way that it’s violent poetry in motion.
