Welcome to the suck Predator fans! More importantly, welcome to a world of suck! It’s almost time to journey across a landscape where virtually everything is trying to kill you, and it is here where a young Yautja warrior will either become a true hunter or simply perish without a thought. Filmmaker Dan Tractenberg is steadily rejuvenating the Predator franchise and with his two earlier entries, Prey and Predator: King of Killers, fans are witnessing a resurgence after a series of failed installments that looked to kill a once awesome franchise.
November 7th sees the release of Predator Badlands and with it, we finally get to root for the bad guy as the lone upstart must battle an entire world to claim his acceptance into his clan. The final trailer has been unleashed, and you can now scroll below to enjoy! Oh, and for those complaining like me that we do not get posters like back in the day, check out the rad, retro new one sheet below as well!
Set in the future on a remote planet, where a young Predator, outcast from his clan, finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Fanning) and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary.

Elle Fanning stars as Thia and the new Predator is portrayed by Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi. Along with directing, Trachtenberg also produces along with John Davis, Marc Toberoff, Ben Rosenblatt, and Brent O’Connor. Patrick Aison, who also wrote Prey, penned this script as well from an idea by Trachtenberg.

Hot off the heels of the success of the animated Predator anthology movie Predator: Killer of Killers, Badlands looks to continue the success by adapting what made the anime great but once again in live action. There is certainly a lot to love here, and this final trailer really delivers on the insane action and creatures we will see but I understand the skepticism at the same time but I’m onboard and cannot wait until November when the bloodletting begins.
