Stop! Collaborate! Listen! That’s right! Just in case you thought Zombie Plane still wasn’t real, the new teaser trailer has officially dropped and with it Commander Chuck Norris is back in the saddle again! If that’s not enough, he’s trained 80’s pop icon Vanilla Ice to be our last line of defense when a zombie apocalypse erupts. On a plane no less! Enough talk though! Scroll below now because I’ve is back with a brand new mission baby!
Zombie Plane centers on a secret government organization that recruits celebrities to be undercover agents, who together must save humanity from an imminent zombie attack. Norris, Ice and Monk play themselves (actually, Norris plays Commander Chuck Norris, who mentored and trained Ice into becoming a deadly secret agent), but the feature is reportedly full of of celebrity cameos, with a ’90s pop soundtrack including tracks by Ice himself.

Zombie Plane just reeks of all kinds of awesomeness and just seeing Norris again on screen is worth it. Even if this movie is a cluster F of gigantic proportions.

Norris was essentially retired for decades and is now coming out of it again (we call that pulling a Brett Favre) for the new action parody. Better yet, Norris will be playing a version of himself where he recruits infamous 90’s rap star Vanilla Ice into a special unit of Hollywood stars to fight the zombie apocalypse. No, you did read that right. Seriously, why wasn’t this movie made years before?! Bring it already!

OK. Let me finish up and just say that this sounds like pure cheesy goodness and I for one cannot wait to see what the hell transpires with it when it comes out. First look footage cannot come fast enough people. The movie apparently already has been shot and it was helmed by Lav Bodnaruk and Michael Pier of Chop Shop Post which is a “post-production and VFX house whose recent work includes Paramount+’s Last King of the Cross and Amazon’s Trope.” The film is also said to feature a host of celebrity cameos as well. By the way, Sophie Monk also stars if anyone cares because it’s Ice and Norris that we are all here to see.
As of now, Zombie Plane is set to hit Australian cinemas on November 13th via Radioactive Pictures but expect more worldwide releases to be announced soon. This is too golden to not hit everywhere else!
