A new 30 second TV spot was unveiled last night during the Oscars showcasing the second attempt at a spin-off located in the universe of John Wick. Academy Award nominee Ana de Armas headlines in Ballerina: From the World of John Wick and looks bad ass and beautiful as she channels her inner Wick with electrifying action design encompassing Gun Fu, tight CQB action and ultra-violence. While it really doesn’t offer any more new footage of the June release, it still hits the target to entice fans to get a little excited. Check it out below!
Taking place during the events of John WIck: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, the film follows Eve Macarro, who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma

The latest promo serves up a quick but in-depth look at De Armas’ tactical prowess in the innovative set pieces. The spot also gives us more of a look at the interaction between Armas’ character and Keanu Reeves’ iconic John Wick. The ending showcases Wick attempting to convince Armas’ Eve Macarro to say goodbye to the hitman world before it consumes her.
Len Wiseman helms from a screenplay penned by Shay Hatten. The supporting cast also includes Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Gabriel Byrne, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and Norman Reedus. John Wick alum Ian McShane, Anjelica Huston, and the late, great Lance Reddick in his last appearance as Charon also star. The latest spin-off was produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Keanu Reeves, and Chad Stahelski who did return to beef up the film’s action sequences.
