The John Wick universe invaded the weekend CCXP event with a panel for the highly anticipated spin-off From the World of John Wick: Ballerina! With it, an extended look has been unleashed to the masses detailing the film and its place on the Baba Yaga universe as well as the Gun Fu infused action design with leading lady Ana de Armas leading the charge with Wick flips and bullets galore. Check out the new featurette below!
A new poster also hit last week which shows off de Armas in neon lit elegance armed and ready with a distinct view of her tat which displays the Lux in Tenebris which translates to Light in Darkness. Scroll below to view the next gen Wick action star below!

Ana de Armas stars as a young lady named Eve Macarro who is drawn into the world of the High Table when her family is murdered. Ian McShane’s Winston takes her in and brings her yo the infamous ballerina school where all is not what it seems and she is trained to eliminate those who wronged her and essentially “To stop the assassin, you must become the assassin.”
Mass carnage and expertly choreographed mayhem ensues as Eve transforms into a nonstop killing machine and sets her sights on everyone that is responsible for her family’s death. Even Wick himself gets involved as Keanu Reeves will make an appearance to guide Eve on her blood-soaked journey of destruction and vengeance.
While it’s true the prequel limited series The Continental failed to draw in fans, although I enjoyed besides a sluggish middle, I still believe that this spin-off as well as Donnie Yen’s solo film based on his Caine character will deliver and take their place amongst the finest action franchise to hit this decade.
We still have a wait as de Armas isn’t set to initiate her kill mission until next year on June 6th in theaters so expect more nuggets of promo to hit in between!
