Any day is a good day for some Jason Statham news and today brings more intel on his upcoming action-thriller Mutiny. Filming has recently wrapped on the flick in the UK and with it we have some additional casing news as the villain who will be taking on The Stath’s character of Cole Reed will be Danish actor Roland Møller who was just seen recently on Amazon Prime’s Citadel. Along with Danish actor Møller, other casting additions have been announced with Arnas Fedaravičius (The White Lotus) and Adrian Lester (The Sandman) also set to appear in the movie per Deadline.
Mutiny sees Statham starring as Cole Reed and “after his billionaire industrialist boss is murdered in front of him, Reed (Statham) is set up to take the fall for the crime— leaving him on the run as he works to uncover an international conspiracy.” Jean François Richet (Plane) is helming the action pic with a script penned by Lindsay Michel and J.P. Davis (Plane, The Contractor). Other cast members announced earlier are Annabelle Wallis, Lee Charles, Jason Wong and Ben Cartwright.
Statham is also producing the film which will most certainly contain all the high-octane action design fans can handle from the action icon.
